In-Store Seminar: Beowulf in Two Translations

We'll read two short and entirely different interpretations of this famous poem by two gifted writers.  Both texts celebrate the poetry of Beowulf, and both are a pleasure to read.  This will appeal to those who have an interest in poetry, history, mythology, and a general love of good writing that is as relevant today as it was 1,000 years ago.

Held at our bookshop over two evenings.  Everyone will meet twice: Wednesdays, June 4 & 11 - 6:30-8:00pm

$120 includes book and reading notes.  Books will be available in March.
