Virtual Seminar: Beowulf in Two Translations

Join me, Belinda, from the comfort of your home as we meet via a virtual platform. Our book group will be small, and everyone will have the opportunity to contribute or simply enjoy quietly listening in.  All are welcome to join me. 

We'll read two short and entirely different interpretations of this famous poem by two gifted writers.  Both texts celebrate the poetry of Beowulf, and are a pleasure to read.  This will appeal to those who have an interest in poetry, history, mythology, and a general love of good writing that is as relevant today as it was 1,000 years ago.

We will meet twice: Tuesdays, July 15 & 22 - 6:30-8:00pm

$120 includes two books, which I will mail to you in March, reading notes, and I will e-mail you the virtual link to participate each week.
